*This is not the return to blogging that I was planning on...*
On his way to work last Wednesday my brother was in a fatal motorcycle accident. To avoid collision with a car that swerved into his lane, he laid his bike down on the road-as he was trained to do-and was struck by an eighteen wheeler. He died immediately, and it is a small comfort to my family to know that his passing was quick.
We celebrated his life on Sunday and were amazed at the amount of friends that attended to help us. My brother led an extremely full life, packing more into his twenty-seven years than some people do in forty. He had love, excitement, and the promise of a new adventure on the horizon.
We are all trying to move forward and I am slowly accepting this great loss...so please bear with me while I try to honor his memory and stay true to the artist's spirit that resides in us both.
