Lost in thought, Red unknowingly wandered into the depths of the Black Forest.
This is one of the illustrations I sketched tonight while pondering this week's I-Fri topic. I actually have a few other ideas; a little more light hearted. If I have the time this weekend, I'll try to post those also.
This is wonderful! I love the idea of red riding hood poised at the edge of the forest...so literally frightening and so metaphorically meaningful. These are great.
ReplyDeleteI like the version with thye red coat best - great work!
ReplyDeleteThis is very cool. I like anything with dark forests...
ReplyDeleteThe shock of red is very effective with those shadows. I really like it.
ReplyDeleteI really like it, too, and I can see faces somehow in the trees that really bring them to life. (course, I tend to see faces in everything).
ReplyDeleteGreat work!
i like how only the boy is in red. very effective.
ReplyDeleteLove this one! I like the scribbles forming the background - clever. I love how you used the red. Little Red came to my mind the other night. We must be on the same creative frequency!!
