Gettin' Along...

I have been under a forced hiatus these last weeks. That has all changed today (yay!) with my latest watercolor sketch.She's much paler than she is in person, but I could not get Photoshop to deepen her skin-tone. Rest assured, she is very rosy. (She is a redhead after all) I did this for the Watercolor Wednesday prompt of Spring (last month!) because down here in Houston, the Livestock and Rodeo show is one of the signs that spring is coming. I also added little bluebonnets on her boots because they are the official harbingers of Spring for Texans.

I did not do a color study before I got to work. I'll be sure not to skip that step next time!
