So unfortunately, it's already Thursday morning and I don't have my illo posted for this week's topic of remote. Unless I can get my can in gear after work today, I'm afraid this older picture will have to do.
This is an acrylic I did in a painting class at the local art center this past spring. I'm glad I stuck with a monochromatic scheme because I learned how to keep things from being "too blue." Adding black, white and even green helped keep the blue from being too much.
Anyway, enjoy Pigfreid.
"Pigreid realized that the best places to think were the remote ones."
(I'll post again if I finish my original idea for remote!)
Nice stuff. Quite a haunting image, I could quite easily see it on a book cover for something like Lovecraft.
ReplyDeletepigfreid is adorable and he looks so peaceful. :)
