Project 52: The Sweet Stuff #2

I wanted to get caught up on the project so here's my second sketch!

I used an experience I had making cookies not too long ago. (Except in my case I remembered the sugar  before I stuck the cookies in the oven.)  The first panel is what I started out with, and the rest of the story just popped in as I was completing it. I may do more comic pages this year. They're fun to do!

  2. I couldn't agree with Laura more! Spot-on expressions! When I was newly married, I was going to surprise my hubby with choc chip cookies. I used 1 Tbsp of salt and baking soda instead of teaspoons. They looked perfect and smelled great. The first bite was like this: "Mmm, yum...oh...hey....salty....GROSS!!!" hahaha ")

  5. This is great, Diandra! Such a sweet and simple idea and I love that you took it from a personal experience. The comic format is perfect and shows your talent at sequential images. The character is so cute and I have to agree, the expressions are really well executed. Man, if you can keep this up, your portfolio will be even MORE amazing!
