A few weeks ago, I perused several shops of a few familiar/new-to-me illustrators. I made some impulse buys (including one from
this shop-which I'll show you when I do a post about my new studio.) One of these purchases was from fellow kidlit illustrator, Jannie Ho, aka:
Chickengirl. When I got my package I discovered some cute packaging, and a few bonus cards! (How cute are those worker bees?)

I couldn't get a good close up photo of the cards I bought, but here they
are.
Another purchase I made was from artist
Saelee Oh and her
collaborator: a
2009 calendar. I have a thing for objects dealing with time: clocks, watches, calendars...it's a little unhealthy, really. I couldn't resist this one, though. It's so unique.

Photographs of mixed media illustrations! Very neat.

This one is my favorite...but I have to wait an entire year before I get to look at it daily. *sigh* I think I can make it. ;)
aww.. thanks for the post and thanks again for getting my cards!
ReplyDeleteI'm really intrigued and want that calendar! To buy a 2009 calendar in October.... you must really like calendars :-) I'm one of those people who buys calendars in February lol.
