Feet, n.- 1 : the terminal part of the vertebrate leg upon which an individual stands.

I haven't been around I-Friday for a while, and I feel a little guilty about it. I've had my reasons, (see last post) but I'm trying my darndest to get back on the wagon.
This is my submission for this week. (and also tattoo and insect; see the heart on the ankle and the butterfly on her shoulder?) I had the sketch done earlier this week, but had no idea how I wanted to execute it.
I decided to wing it, and used new canvas paper and dry acrylic brush technique. I'm really happy with the results. I can see what I could redo, and what I want to try with my next piece.
Her feet are my favorite, just hanging in the cool water, free and fun. This piece reflects my current mood- very mellow and hanging in there.

  2. Great multitasking, Dee:> This is so relaxing and carefree. Like Val, this reminds me of childhood. We used to get the big inner tubes and just drift away out on the Block Island Sound...it makes me want to be a little girl in summer again:> I love this!

  7. I love this illo a lot Dee. I hope you've been feeling better. I know completely what you mean. When I am not in good shape, I do not feel like creating either.

    Good luck!
