I've painted this mermaid for one of my best girlfriends. I've been promising since last summer to do it! It's taken me an unbelievably long time due to the fact that I was just NOT inspired at all last year. Well, my girlfriend has taken up the mermaid as her new talisman. She's gone through an awful lot of unhappy times and thankfully that's over. I'm hoping she likes her painting. If not, I'd be more than happy to take her back! haha. Darnit. I hate when I get attached to my work! (*grumble...grumble...*)
