cold, adj.- having or being a temperature that is uncomfortably low

Well, here is my post for I-Fri's topic of Cold. I was stymied for a bit with this topic, and no amount of brainstorming helped. The few ideas I did come up with, I quickly saw had been already interepreted.
Luckily, I began playing around with a little character, and soon he had a friend. I didn't mean for it to look like she is cold-hearted, rather the opposite. Remember when you were younger and flirting meant inflicting some sort of uncomfortable state on the person you liked?
Well, here we see that "despite the cold, Sandra felt warm from head to toe at the sight of Joey."
