Third Time's a Charm

Sorry about the glare in the center. It couldn't be helped.

Here's a peek at what I've been toiling over the last couple of days. It's an interpretation of Hansel and Gretel. I actually have done this page twice now. I first did it in ink, then ink with pencil. Finally I did it in only pencil, which I like much better.

I was going to do a dummy book using this format and story, but decided to use an original story in the graphic novel format instead. I figured it would look better for my portfolio review. (There goes a week's worth down the toilet. Oh well!)

Off to my next black and white assignment.

  2. How do you find the time to get all this done and take care of a baby?
I really don't think I could do it.

Great job by the way. I like the perspectives and the sketch quality.

  3. Thanks Roz! It was fun to do. If I could only get started on the next project already!

Trish-I'm lucky that my baby loves his twice a day naps. I'm dreading the day he decides he only needs one...or none! haha!

I'm sure you'd manage. Heck you helped build another house!
