It's a Boy!

Well folks, the wait's over. We now know there's a little man on his way. The ultrasound appointment was so cool: we got to the see the heart, lungs, kidneys, and watch him mambo around. Now comes the fun of narrowing down names and planning the nursery!

On a side note, are any of you going to attend the Illustrator's Intensive at the SCBWI conference this February? If so, let me know how that homework assignment is working out for ya! As I'm waffling back and forth between ideas, I'm wondering how others are doing.

  1. Many congratulations to you!

Guess what? I've pretty much decided to skip that part of the illustrators day. GASP! I know. But I just don't have time this month to do the homework without it causing a great deal of stress.

  2. Thanks Roz! I wish I could skip the assignment, but since I've been unable to accomplish a good amount of art lately, I feel like I need to be able to validate my trip to NYC. :) Your w.i.p. blog banner looks good, btw.

  3. I am using part of my book dummy for that assignment. I thought of an idea for you though.......a fairy tale. Or some folklore, something with animals that you could silly up a bit. What about the pigs I saw in Austin?

Congratulations on finding out it's a boy! :)

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment!
