depth, n. - a part that is far from the outside or surface.

Lost in thought, Red unknowingly wandered into the depths of the Black Forest.
This is one of the illustrations I sketched tonight while pondering this week's I-Fri topic. I actually have a few other ideas; a little more light hearted. If I have the time this weekend, I'll try to post those also.

  1. This is wonderful! I love the idea of red riding hood poised at the edge of the forest...so literally frightening and so metaphorically meaningful. These are great.

  5. I really like it, too, and I can see faces somehow in the trees that really bring them to life. (course, I tend to see faces in everything).
